Brisbane-based systems integrator Comlinx has become a Juniper Networks Operate Specialist, the highest level in the vendor’s Global Services partnership programme.
The new status, effective in October, means Comlinx now offers its own primary post-sales and support for Juniper solutions, along with more advanced service levels backed up by Juniper. Operate Specialists undergo strict audits of their processes and help desk facilities, and have staff with high levels of professional qualifications.
Comlinx says its transition to Operate Specialist status is a long-term investment in its relationship with Juniper, and a signal of its commitment to its customers.
“We’ve been a Juniper partner since we opened for business in 2006, first as a Select partner, then at Elite level, and now as an Operate Specialist,” says Wayne Shaw and Scott Smith in a joint statement. “This new status confirms to our customers, most of whom are headquartered in Queensland, that we have the specialist expertise locally in the state to help them get the very best out of their networking and communications technologies.”
Comlinx is also currently consolidating its three Brisbane facilities to a newly purchased 800-square building in Fortitude Valley. The new site will house the company’s Customer Innovation Centre, Test Lab, and project staging area. It will also accommodate the Comlinx 24 x 7 x 365 Network Operations Centre, which is being used to support a number of large Enterprise and Government customers.
“Comlinx is a welcome addition to the stable of Operate Specialists serving our Australian customers,” says Mark Weston, Juniper’s Services Area Leader for ANZ. “Their accreditation at the highest level of service partnership is especially good news for Queensland organisations which rely on their networks and on the skills and expertise that maintain them to the highest standards.”
